The Oracle Storage 12 Gb/s SAS PCIe HBA, External (marketing part numbers 7110118 and 7110119) provides a low-cost PCI Express SAS solution for computer manufacturers. The HBA uses either a standard or low-profile PCI bracket type and has the following features:

• PCI Express interface that is compatible with the PCI Express Specification, revision 3.0
• PCI Express 3.0 compliant x8 host interface
• Compatiblity with PCIe Low Profile standards
• PCI Express transmission and reception data rate of 12 Gb/s in each direction, yielding a bandwidth of 24 Gb/s for each full-duplex lane
• Simplified cabling with a point-to-point, serial architecture
• Protocol controller with no on-board RAID support
• On-board Flash for firmware and boot support (dual image required)
