CAT5E cables offer reliable, high-speed internet connectivity at up to 100 MHz, with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps (Gigabit per second). They are perfect for everyday use at home or in the office, with a range of up to 100 meters (328 feet). STP cables have pairs of twisted copper wires, similar to UTP, but each pair is enclosed in a conductive shield, usually made of foil or braided wire. This is a shielding provides a barrier against external EMI and reduces crosstalk. The entire bundle of pairs is also wrapped in an additional shield, enhancing protection.
